March 15, 2011 Board Meeting Agenda Item #27 Title APPROVAL OF EXPULSION CASE NO. 11-339 Description The student listed in Expulsion Case No. 11-339, was adjudicated delinquent of a felony, thereby violating School Board Policy 534(1)(i).  It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from the Sarasota County Schools until June 15, 2012. Recommendation That in accordance with provisions of Sections 232.26(2), Florida Statutes, Florida State Board of Education Rule 6A-1.0956, and School Board Policy 5.34, and the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No. 11-339, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved immediately for the remainder of the 2010-2011 academic year, the 2011 summer session, until June 15 of the 2011-2012 academic year.
